It’s been almost 3 years since I published one of these. However, I know not everyone can keep up with everything Jeffrey and I read or share during the week. Here are some of those links you don’t want to miss this week:
First things first, if you are an online retailer do not forget to register for my free ClickZ webinar Guaranteeing Holiday Sales for Online Retailers October 9, 2012 at 1:00pm ET / 10:00am PT. I’ll be sharing tips from some of the best in the business that you can get done in the next couple of weeks to boost your online sales and that won’t take much effort.
What’s Your Content Performance Ratio? - A very nice step by step process to perform a content audit on your content marketing efforts.
Social Login Buttons Aren’t Worth It - interesting story and analysis how MailChimp’s Ben Chestnut made an emotional gut decision and how it is supported by data.
25 Facebook tips every social media manager needs - A few here I hadn’t heard before.
Outrageous Social Media Blunders - an infographic to remind you & your team what not to do. You’ll want to add KitchenAid’s offensive tweet to the list.
Google Tag Manager: A Step-By-Step Guide - Google released a free tag management solutions this week. While, not as robust as the enterprise solutions this is really great for most businesses that can’t benefit from all the features or afford a TagMan type solution.
Can you spare 20 seconds for me please? Click here, http://t.co/9xCJnene then tweet or comment the answer to the question it asks. I am testing out a new feature from UserTesting.com.

Alright, I’ll bite. Definitely more than 20 seconds without having a simple way to answer inline.
1) What do I remember:
It is about Bryan and Jeffrey, focused on speaking, outlines your credibility as leading speakers. Opportunity to sign up for updates (newsletter)
2) What can you do on the site?
Read, sign up for updates. (Less clear on this one).
3) Who is it for?
People looking for event speakers, anyone interested in having Bryan or Jeffrey at an event.
Since you are testing the platform: the experience isn’t great. The 5 seconds worked just fine, but it needs an integrated way to capture the answers to the questions as well. Laying out each one myself in a comment box isn’t ideal and definitely will hurt the response rate.
Eric,
Thanks for taking the time to go through this. This isn’t the usual experience. We did this so that people wouldn’t have any obstacle in answering. Next week, we’ll launch a post that will allow people to fully experience it.
