Frustrated at waiting for Google to update their index, I recently ran a simple experiment. I wrote a press release, published it, and watched as AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini instantly treated it as fact.

Think about that for a moment. A single piece of content became the “truth” inside systems that millions of people now rely on for answers.

That experiment is just one of the stories I shared with Slobodan Manic on his No Hacks podcast. But it points to something much bigger: in the age of AI, the rules of discoverability and trust are changing faster than most businesses can keep up with.

In our conversation, we explored questions that go far beyond hacks or quick wins:

  • How can businesses prepare for a world where AI is often the first touchpoint with their brand?
  • Why do empathy and storytelling matter more now than at any point in marketing history?
  • And what can leaders do when they feel they have swallowed an elephant of overwhelm in their personal or professional lives?

Slobodan and I did not trade tips and tricks. We wrestled with fundamentals. We talked about the stories that shape behavior, the hidden forces that drive trust, and the choices that determine whether a brand stays relevant or fades away.

If you care about where marketing is headed, and how to stay ahead in a world shaped by algorithms and AI, this episode is one you do not want to miss.
